Love is, in my opinion, what life is about. When i love, i m expressing my deepest, most authentic aspect of self. Love sparks creation -look at the poetry, music, and art that has been driven by love. And the beauty is, we possess Love at every moment. Love is within us. We often mistakenly misidentify Love by confusing it with the object of our Love and affection. However, Love itself begins within us. The reason love feels so good is that we are actually expressing our Selves in one of the purest ways possible. The person I am loving is merely the recipient of the best of my self that I have to give.
Sometimes we get angry at what we perceive as 'lost love' or by 'being betrayed by love.' However, once you begin to understand that Love is within you at all times, you begin to comprehend that all that has been lost is the object you are loving - you didn't lose the Love - that is still inside you at every moment. Nor were you truly disappointed by love - your love, your most beautiful expression of Self, is still there within you, and CANNOT disappoint. Another person's behavior (that of the object of your love) can be disappointing, but Love itself cannot. Love is always beautiful, and you can learn to harness that feeling and use and express it every day of your life, in many different ways in the world. There are those who could be angry and say that love has betrayed them, but instead they turn inward to the Love they know they possess and decide that instead of being bitter over the actions of another, they want to reside in a world where they are ever surrounded by Love, and therefore they express it regularly, through their interactions with all around them, and channel it into work, art, Life. Love is what you have to give, and there are endless ways to give it. Give Love to the world, and give it every day, and you will live a life that is a work of art.
